Abstract: This Team Description Paper describes the humanoid robot team Hamburg Bit-Bots, from its history over currently used software and hardware to the research interests and achievements in RoboCup. We currently focus our development on hardware to have robots capable of playing on artificial turf. Therefore, we enhanced our open-source plat- form Hambot and developed a second one named Minibot (cf. Chapter 4). We especially research hardware features for the robots, like different types of joints or pressure sensors for the feet (cf. Chapter 2).
