Abstract: This document introduces AUTMan (Amirkabir University of Technology and University of Manitoba) humanoid joint team for participating in Humanoid Teen Size Robot League in RoboCup 2017, Nagoya, Japan. This joint team was founded in 2013 on collaboration between two teams from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran and University of Manitoba, Canada. A brief history of Team AUTMan and its’ research interests and directions for future research will be described. Our main research interests within the scope of humanoid robots are to modify our recent TeenSize platform, ARASH, for being compatible to long-term road map for the future of the league, active balancing, robot manipulations, accurate localization, and strategic reasoning for soccer.
